How To Get Social Media Attention Now… Even if You Have No Idea What To Do!

Getting More Traffic To Your BlogWould you like to know how to get way more attention, interaction and positive response from your social media marketing?

If so, follow these steps right now and watch what happens!

So many people ask me “How can I get more of a reaction from people in my social network?”

Or…”How do I know if my social media marketing is working for me or not?”

Or…”What can I do right now (simply and quickly) that will get more clicks, likes and traffic to my website?”

The answer is simple.

But don’t mistake simple for easy…

These things need to happen to get more attention and interaction from your social media exposure.

  1. Get the right online foundation in place.  (If you’re one of our members, then you have this part covered)
  2. Build an ever-expanding audience.
  3. Share interesting content associated with your name (or brand) that people are likely to engage in.
  4. Run ads behind your content to expand reach and accelerate #2

For this post, I’m going to show you what to do with a cool piece of real estate related content that was released from The Ellen Show and is on their YouTube channel “ellentube”.

The video is a hilarious hidden-camera extravaganza showing exactly what NOT to do when hosting an open house.

An important point to make is that it’s not unique content for you…  It Doesn’t Matter!

In fact, by sharing proven, funny and industry related content that was put out by a celebrity, you get a kind of “credibility transfer” because people already love and trust Ellen.  Well, most everyone anyways…

Remember, the goal here is to get people’s attention, have them interact with the content and get traffic to your website.

So here are the steps to take:

Write a short blog post on your blog website and embed the Ellen video in the blog post.

Craft a catchy, clickable headline so people will want to see the video

Share the blog post to your social media accounts

Optional: Run an ad to display your post to vastly more people in your network as well as your local area.

Bonus points: Create an opt in form for your blog post visitors to subscribe to your email newsletter or download something important to them. Then add them to your list and continue to communicate with them forever.
